Sheraton Needham

100 Cabot Street Needham, MA

The theme for this year's prom is 1920’s Evening in Paris! We are excited to have the Sheraton in Needham host us. We will have a buffet dinner, sundae bar, and unlimited soda bar. As always, we will have a wonderful DJ playing all the favorites.

Who: The Prom is only for students 9th grade and up.

Ticket Price: $90 (please see a student council advisor if there are financial concerns)

Time: 7:00-11:00 pm. Students are expected to be picked up no later than 11:00 pm or they may lose the privilege of attending future events.

Permission Slip Due Date: April 11th (students are given ample time to hand in permission slips. The hotel needs to receive a count from us. We kindly ask that you respect this date and do not ask for any extensions). Outside guest slips are due NO LATER than April 11th

Parking: Free parking is available at the hotel.

Pictures: The Henry Studio will be handling pictures again this year. Forms will be available starting April 2nd.

Attire: This is a semi-formal Prom. Tuxedos do not have to be worn. Dress shirts, ties, dress pants, and dress shoes should be worn (no sneakers). Ladies do not need formal Prom dresses.

Security: Security is required by the hotel and will be present throughout the evening.

Emergencies: There will not be a nurse on staff that evening. All emergencies will be handled by 911. Student who require epi-pens or inhalers should bring them to the event.

Rules: The rules and expectations for the Prom are the same as any other LPS function. If you need further clarification, see a Student Council Advisor.

Sponsoring: If you would like to help financially sponsor a student who may otherwise not be able to attend the Prom, we are accepting donations for this purpose.

*The Administration reserves the right to determine whether students are eligible to attend the Prom based on disciplinary issues that have transpired over the course of the year.

Permissions slips are required.

Please return no later than by April 11th

to Jen Thorell or Meredith Sullivan.

While we are all thrilled for this exciting event, such a formal event can be a source of stress for some families dealing with financial hardship. We are trying to support those students who may not be able to afford such an evening.

Any assistance in the form of sponsoring a prom ticket, giving of extra prom dresses, pants, button down shirts, ties, and sport jackets would be greatly appreciated. Any help is welcomed.

If you have any questions, regarding permission slips or assisting with Prom donations, please contact Leah Manzella.
