Learning Prep School students create a vast variety of art, proudly displayed throughout the school. In addition, student artwork can be viewed at Artsonia.com; simply select Learning Prep School in the search box.

LPS student artists often participate in themed projects. For example, during "No Name Calling Week," students in Pam Pellet's High School Art class brainstormed ideas about visual symbols, which represent positive feelings. The ideas included a heart, sun, thumbs-up, shamrock and peace sign. Sketches were made and combined into an interesting composition. This was then transferred to canvas and the fun began.

Dozens of students contributed ideas and skills to create this colorful piece of art. The piece is on display in the High School building.

Learning Prep School provides an individualized language-based program to students with complex learning profiles, including dyslexia, expressive/receptive language issues, autism spectrum disorder, and social communication disorder.
