Interscholastic News

Interscholastic Basketball Tournament-March 14th!

We are excited to announce a second interscholastic tournament this school year! LPS students are invited to play in a basketball tournament against neighboring 766 schools. Our gracious host, Willow Hill School, has also invited Milestones School and Clearway School. LPS played against each of these wonderful schools in our recent Soccer Jamboree and it was a great success!

Tournament Details

  • Shortly before dismissal on March 14th, participating students will be transported to Willow Hill School, at 98 Haynes Rd, Sudbury, MA 01776
  • Several games will be played against each school, between 2:45-4pm
  • The cost of this event is free to players and spectators
  • Due to limited spacing we are capping our roster at 15, so signups will operate on a first-come-first-serve basis. You will be notified if your child is or is not able to participate. In order to assure LPS is represented by exemplary students, any student who has recently served an in-house or off-campus suspension will NOT be able to participate.
  • At 4pm we will conclude our event and our students will be transported back to the LPS parking lot. Students should be picked up by their designated transportation by no later than 4:30pm. Students will have the option to leave from the event after checking out.

Learning Prep School provides an individualized language-based program to students with complex learning profiles, including dyslexia, expressive/receptive language issues, autism spectrum disorder, and social communication disorder.
